Visiting and choosing
Where is the showroom, and when is it open?
Visit Unit 11b, Bakers Yard, Alphinbrook Road, Exeter EX2 8RG. We are open Tuesday–Friday, 10am–4pm, and closed on Mondays, weekends and bank holidays. Call 01392 424444 to discuss a visit.
Can you help me choose fabrics?
Browse fabric books in our Exeter showroom or contact us about samples by post. If you have seen a fabric you like, send us its details or a photograph and we will do our best to help you identify it.
Can a sofa be made to fit my room?
Our bespoke design service can help with proportions, fabrics and comfort. Bring your room measurements and any access restrictions so we can discuss the options.
Ordering and delivery
How much will my sofa cost?
The price depends on the design, dimensions, fabric and specification. Contact our team with your preferred collection or project details for a quote.
How long will my order take?
Lead times vary by collection and specification. Ask our team for the current estimate for your chosen furniture before ordering.
What should I check before arranging delivery?
Measure doorways, hallways, stairs and the space where the furniture will sit. Tell our team about tight turns, steps or restricted access so we can discuss delivery arrangements.
Care and existing furniture
Can you re-upholster my existing sofa or chair?
Send photographs of the whole piece, its condition and any damage using our re-upholstery enquiry form. We can then discuss fabrics and the work needed.
Can you replace cushion fillings?
We make replacement interiors to fit existing covers. Visit Cushion Filling to compare options and send measurements or photographs for a quote.
How should I care for the upholstery?
Follow the care instructions supplied for your chosen fabric and cushion filling. If you are unsure about cleaning or a spill, contact us before applying a cleaning product.
Our workshop and planning your order
Is all your furniture made in Exeter?
Our own handmade sofas, chairs, footstools and headboards are made in our Exeter workshop. We also offer collections made by other British manufacturers. Ask our team where your chosen piece is made and which customisation options are available.
What does the 25-year guarantee cover?
Our handmade upholstered furniture comes with a 25-year frame construction guarantee. This is a frame guarantee, rather than a promise that every component is covered for 25 years. Please ask for the terms and the guarantee applicable to your chosen collection before ordering.
Can I enquire if I live outside Exeter?
Yes. Send us your postcode and details of the furniture or service you need. Our team can confirm whether we can help at your address and discuss any delivery, collection or visit arrangements and charges before you commit.
